The TiNOX absorber-layers are coated in an environmentally friendly PVD-vacuum process. The coating of 1 m² of TiNOX material requires 0,87 kWh.

1 m² TiNOX generates more than 500 kWh per year, hence the energy necessary for the coating-process, is amortized within one single “sunny”-day.

The components of the TiNOX-coating are almost unlimited available and in addition ecologically and biologically harmless (Titanium is a highly respected material in medical technology).
